ASTROSE Theft Detection

On their route from the producer to the consumer, power lines cross hundreds of miles of often sparsely populated rural terrain. Theft and vandalism are a very real threat. ASTROSE’s tilt and torsion sensors detect any manipulation and send an immediate alarm with a precise statement of the affected grid section.

The battery powered ASTROSE sensors are particularly suited to monitoring inactive lines during construction and installation or other phases without an active current.
